Revised July 09.( October 06) Singing waiters, karaoke and D.J
Makom Mehasratim/La Terrassa is the only Kosher Pub & Restaurant in the center of Tel-Aviv offering a variety of chef’s dishes, a full menu of alcoholic drinks, and a full evening of entertainment. This is also the only restaurant that we know of, where waiters are hired both for their singing voice and for their serving ability. Warning: at the job interview you will be asked to sing!.
The restaurant has a comfortable air conditioned indoor space and an outdoor streetside terrace. The evening starts inside quietly and relaxed with good food and pleasant background music. By about 10pm every night, the party begins. The DJ takes the stage, the lights are dimmed and the action starts. The volume is raised on the music, the disco ball starts turning and the karioki microphone passes from hand to hand.
The indoor area, where the party happens, has huge screens, singing waiters, karaoke (10,000 songs in Hebrew, English and French) + hosts, DJs, shows, eight cameras transmitting live, including a 360-degree camera, internet connection + Wi-Fi, cable TV, and dancing.
The party includes:
The best movies and sport games - including live broadcast - on huge screens
A dance bar and a dance floor with appropriate free style music.
Hundreds of songs on our karaoke machine performed by singing waiters.
From 8 pm to 9:30 pm we will play a movie translated into Hebrew.
"We called the restaurant ‘Makom Mehasratim’ because its design and style are so closely identified with entertainment world. There is an open stage for veteran and emerging stars, singing waiters and karaoke for our talented guests.
Inside the restaurant walls are decorated with portraits of Hollywood stars and international celebrities from the past and present that will keep you company while you enjoy your meal. This is the place to see, to be seen, and maybe even be discovered."
Makom Mehasratim has the world’s most advanced and sophisticated multimedia, lighting, sound and film systems. They record your performance on stage. Afterwards you can purchase a recording of your performance at a reasonable price. During the evening, film of the guests and artists are broadcast at the location as well as on our website. Every guest is a star!
