Terasa is a gourmet mehadrin dairy restaurant located in Jerusalem's beautiful Begin Heritage Center, Come to take a tour of this wonderful nostalgic Eretz Yisrael museum or just come for the restaurant. Terasa in an excellent dining experience, with a lovely dairy menu and as its name suggests, a gorgeous terrace overlooking the walls of the Old City, What a view. What a restaurant.
Owner Tal Rosenzweig comes from a long line of food experts and fish restaurant owners. They once owned stalls in the Machane Yehuda shuk, and then went to presenting prepared fish in the restaurant. They purchase their cheeses from the best boutique farms, and all the dishes are made on the premises. Tal and the people at Terasa know food.

The menu starts with focaccia baked fresh of course and topped with olive oil, rosemary and garlic. It is served with tehina, olive tapenade, labne and eggplant. Or try the Fish Kebabs, with rocket leaves, tehina and pickled lemons.
For main courses there are some amazing pasta dishes like the Cannelloni, and Ravioli stuffed with sweet potatoes and served in a sun dried tomato & cream sauce with pine nuts.
The fish is where the menu shines try the Filet of Trout
served butterfly style in a garlic butter sauce with capers, or the Fillet of Salmon
grilled in a Dijon mustard sauce.
Terasa is a great venue or your next private party. The restaurant can host events for up to 250 people in the winter and 300 in the summer, utilizing the magnificent patio.
