The 99 Hayarkon menu is varied, modern and inventive. The chef has contrived to give traditional dishes his own individual stamp, raising them to an entirely different standard.

Hayarkon gives you that little bit extra, from the offer of an aperitif as soon as you sit down, to the freshly baked rolls and crunchy whole wheat crackers served with top quality olive oil and balsamic vinegar, to the amuse-bouche (small taster) of delicious pate de foie topped with a slice of toasted fruit loaf – all for you to enjoy while your order is being prepared.
Here are some of the more unusual offerings you might try: Red tuna tartar accompanied by a delicately spiced Remoulade sauce; green asparagus in a porcini and coconut crème with chives, or artichoke tortellini with mushrooms, green peas and truffle oil. Each and everyone made with the best ingredients, perfectly balanced and looking just fabulous.

For your main course there is a hearty sirloin steak – made perfectly to order, beautiful veal fillets, and oh-so tender lamb osso buco. If you prefer fish, try the Japan inspired Salmon tataki, served with a spicy Vietnamese salad, or the fish ‘shishlik in tomato vinaigrette served with crispy potato chips. You’ll find that the offerings are not only beautifully prepared, but also generous.
Now for the desserts. These are so beautifully crafted, you won’t want to spoil them with your spoon. The chocolate crème caramel, topped by a crispy baguette biscuit, just melts on the tongue. For something more tangy, have the lemon pudding, which comes with a contrasting mango sorbet, sprinkled with streusel and basil. Take your time and savor each spoonful.
