The
Japan Japan restaurant chain has 16 locations in Israel. One of the nicest restaurants in the chain is in the Big Fashion mall in Beit Shemesh.
The restaurant is located on the second floor (escalator up from the main floor)
at the end of the hall near the food court. A decorative glass wall separates Japan Japan from the hub hub of the food court. You'll feel like you are in a quiet restaurant away from the mall and from other diners.
The Japan Japan menu offers excellent sushi and Asian dishes. The restaurant also offers a good selection of non Asian meat and vegetarian dishes. Folks who enjoy their burgers in a beautiful environment far from the crowds, can choose a 250 gr burger (NIS 79). Bring the family. There is something on the menu for everyone including reasonably priced children's meals. The restaurant menu is posted on the Japan Japan website in both Hebrew and English.
In the late afternoon, when you want to relax at the end of the day, have a drink at the
Japan Japan bar.
Happy Hour starts at 5pm.
The Big Fashion Mall in Beit Shemesh is a pleasant and modern mall with the familiar chain stores and some boutique shops. Japan Japan is a clean and pleasantly designed space with banquet seating for groups and table seating. The VIP tables are at the large picture window with a great view of the hills around Beit Shemesh. It's a wow any time of the day.
We chose our meals from an electronic menu on a clean and easy to use tablet that switches between Hebrew and English. The highlight of the sushi menu is the Samurai roll. This is the signature roll in all the restaurants in the chain. The most popular dishes other than the sushi, we were told, are the stir-fried vegetable dishes. There is a vegetarian version or a meat version with rice. The fish fillets are also popular, with fresh fish delivered every day.
Children will enjoy the schnitzel meal and the parents will enjoy the price.
