The historic city of Safed is great place to just wander about and take in the sites. When you get to the picturesque pedestrian walkway that is Jerusalem Street, stop at Rosemary Bistro Bar Cafe (Rosemarine in Hebrew). Take a seat near the large windows and enjoy the view of the Northern Galilees green and lush mountains, and red roofs that dot the landscape.

inventive menu, and gorgeous desserts.
Light, bright and airy, this restaurant is a very pleasant place to dine or to host a private function.
About The Rosemary Menu
Rosemary is an Italian dairy restaurant with a full and varied menu. You can enjoy a light bite or an à la carte meal you decide.
Its always nice to come across classic dishes with a different twist. We particularly like the foccacia topped with roasted eggplant, techina, feta cheese and basil. Or
how about a Cyprus pizza? This comes topped with roasted sweet red pepper, eggplant, spring onion, and a mix of feta and mozzarella cheese, and a sprinkling of fresh basil.
For a full and healthy meal, choose from the fish menu but I warn you, it wont be easy to choose. Theres whole sea bream, baked in the restaurants own stone oven and stuffed with a medley of vegetables. The cherry tomatoes, onions, garlic and red pepper gently add their own flavours. You can have a salmon fillet baked with caramelized onions you get to open your own envelope: A second salmon dish comes sizzling on a skillet, pan-fried in honey, soya and rosemary.
Now for the desserts: if youre a chocoholic, youll be in heaven. There is Belgian waffles with chocolate sauce, ice cream and whipped cream (not for the
faint hearted), chocolate souffl, chocolate truffles in brandy.
Rosemary is unique. Fresh, young and trendy on the one hand, serious about its food on the other. |
