This wine comes nowhere close to the '96 and unfortunately,
suffers by comparison. Yet, it has a fine, smooth taste and
is good value for the price. The Barkan Cabernet Sauvignon '97
is pleasant, fruity and fragrant and can and should, be easily
enjoyed. There is still hope that this wine will mature in the
bottle to reach the level of the '96 but that is doubtful. If
you've never tasted the '96, you should enjoy the '97.
