This is a very good chardonnay. It has just the right blend of oakey and smooth tastes. The Dalton Chardonnay '97 has not only aged well in the bottle, I found that it has actually improved over the year since I first purchased it. The attractive green colored bottle with the gold fluted design makes it difficult to peek inside, but this chardonnay is a clear, pure, yellow in color. Like most white wines, in order to enjoy this wine to it fullest make certain that it is well chilled before drinking.
