Vineyard:
Golan
Wine: Cabernet Sauvinon, 1999
Type: Dry Red
This is an excellent wine. It is another example of how the
Golan Heights vineyard is successfully going for the middle
of the market and not only the top end. It is easy to make an
average wine and charge exorbitant prices.
With
this 1999 Cabernet, Golan has created a fine wine while pushing
the prices down. Better wines for less. Proof that you can create
a very good wine for an affordable price. This is truly a revolution
in the Kosher wine market.
The
wine is tasty and full of flavors. It has a future and can be
stored for years or you can drink it right now. Air the wine
for an hour and you will be very pleased with its sophisticated
aromas and complex taste. This wine gets one of my highest recommendations.
