If you have not been to Ashdod recently it is time to take another look. Ashdod is not as you remember it. These days Ashdod is a hoppin' town. In the late evening, when other cities are shutting down, Ashdod is just getting started.
Roza restaurant opened in the summer of 2024. It is located in the sprawling Star strip mall on Jabotinsky Street . This shopping mall has a collection of attractive boutique shops and the best chain stores from around the country. Star is a modern spiffy strip mall with plenty of parking, wide sidewalks, and restaurants!
Roza meat restaurant is the last in
a row of restaurants facing Jabotinsky street. Keep going till you see it. Restaurant row is hopping with people creating a festive atmosphere.
We rarely see restaurants with a design as beautiful as this restaurant. The interior is invested with beautiful accents that make it feel like you are dining in an autumn forest. The restaurant is well lit and there is good spacing between tables. The beautiful dining space, levels that give a sense of privacy, adds to the dining experience. In addition to the indoor space, the restaurant has additional seating in a glass-enclosed pergola.
If you are a fan of the popular Roza Restaurant in Modiin, you will love the Ashdod branch. The menu is the same but the Ashdod restaurant is larger, newer and more modern. Roza Restaurants have a full meat menu with reasonable prices. This is an excellent venue for dining with your partner or with the family. Meat dishes are not only delicious, the restaurant has the highest level of kashrut. Roza is the only meat restaurant in Ashdod under the hashgacha of the Badatz Mehadrin.

We were impressed with the selection of meat starters and main dishes. My family likes to start their meal with soup, but there is a long list of starters for serious foodies. Sashimi for example, and fish tartar are favorite starters for connoisseurs as is the liver pate.
Most of the starters are meat-based. A meal could not start better than with Savta Ziva's cigars filled with meat and pistachio and served with techina.
Skip right down to the main course menu, where meat is king. Meat is sourced from Ramat Hagolan and is aged at the restaurant between 21 and 48 days. The Entrecote and the beef fillet are the Roza signature dishes, though we have been quite happy with the burgers and other menu items. The main menu also offers salmon fillet, whole Levrak (striped bass), and gnocchi. Diners preferring non-meat/fish dishes will enjoy the Roza salads. Most are meat-free, but there is also a chicken salad that makes a light main course.

We were impressed with the service at the restaurant, even though it was quite full our server was pleasant and attentive. The waiters were polite and professional, as one would expect in a quality restaurant.
Roza is a popular restaurant that is always busy, so it is best to reserve a place in advance. Roza is an excellent place to host your party of up to 150 guests.
