This is an excellent and inexpensive wine. It is perfect for the summer. Serve it chilled. It is highly recommended as accompaniment for a BBQ, for a cold dinner or for just about anything else you might be preparing.

The wine is just oakey enough and has many other fruity tastes within it. The color is light and citrusy. It is not a powerful, bowl-you-over type heavy Chardonnay. You can drink the Gamla, Chardonnay 1999 now or store it for a year or so, but no longer.

This wine is a perfect balance between price and quality. I just wish that there were many more wines like this on the market today.
